The Badwater Ultramarathon is the premiere event from AdventureCORPS (organizers of the [Furnace Creek 508], [Death Valley Centurey] and [Death Valley Double Century]). Considered the most demanding and extreme running racing on the planet, participants cover 135 miles (non-stop) with over 13,000' of climbing in temperatures that can get as high as 130F (55C).

The race starts at Badwater, Death Valley (at 280' below sea level it is the lowest elevation in the Western Hemisphere) and travels up Mt. Whitney, finishing at the Mt. Whitney Portals (8360' above sea level)
