Around a park in the Capitol of New Hampshire, cyclists compete for the New England Criterium Championship title. There is also a kids “grass criterium” to round out the fun for all ages. The Concord Criterium is put on by the [New Hampshire Cycling Club].
It’s a fast, well paved, 1.4 mile circuit, left hand course with a small (ring) hill that sweeps to the left with perfect banking. The finish stretch is almost always head-windy.
Breaks rarely stay away. If you want to finish in the top ten, you had better be in the top ten for the last two laps because the speeds get almost dangerous and teams will not let you move up unless you shove your way through.
The race goes around a park. The turns are fun to watch and the finish line has bleachers.
