SM5000 Goal ~

Our fundraising goal for Grant’s P.E. is $3,000. In addition to our regular P.E. curriculum, we have many choices of intramural sports leagues which have associated costs. One of the most popular activities is the lunchtime organized intramural sports league for boys and girls in grades 2-5. Teams compete in Super Dodgeball (Grant's National Pastime!), soccer, basketball and kickball.

Your donation will help buy: kindergarten outdoor play sets, flags for football, instructional dance CD's, and equipment for Grant Olympics.

The Grant School Community, which includes students, their families, staff, and community members collaborate to create a safe and caring learning environment in which students will become self-directed learners, collaborative workers, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens. Families share in the responsibility for their child’s success through their active support of the educational process.

Grant’s strength is a compilation of outstanding teaching, incredible parent involvement and wonderful students. Our diversity reflects the greater Santa Monica population. We like to say at Grant, “We have a little bit of everything.” And as a diverse school we have also done extremely well academically. Our API is hovering at the 900 mark, a remarkable achievement for any school.
