The 100 Mile Club® provides the opportunity to run or walk 100 miles at school during a single school year and is committed to improving school readiness to learn, creating better educational outcomes, building self-esteem and overall improved health in the lives of children and others.
We are a grass-roots non-profit dedicated to helping our children become healthy, happy, and connected...one child, one school, one community at a time.
I want to do my part fighting child obesity and the 100 Mile Club is enormously successful getting kids moving. The description on the 100 Mile Club on their website says it best:
"The 100 Mile Club is a physical fitness and life skills project for all individuals based on the goal of running (or walking) 100 miles at school or work during a single school year. Our goal is to help our runners experience fitness and TRUE personal success through attainable physical fitness goals. Events like R4K24 ensure that ALL kids are able to participate in The 100 Mile Club® and that programs, assemblies, and trainings are no-cost. We never turn anyone or any school away, thanks to the generosity of our donors."
