Chelan Rotary Century Challenge supports Rotaplast International, a non-profit, humanitarian organization supported by and administered by Rotartians committed to changing lives through reconstructive surgery. Rotaplast is transforming children around the world one cleft palate at a time and has performed over 13,000 surgeries in countries around the world. SAVING FACE is how some have described it.

The Rotarians and medical staffs of Rotaplast partner with local Rotary clubs which leads to international friendships and opportunities to help change lives. The trauma that families face when a baby is born with a deformed face is devastating. The changes made from the surgical repair of a cleft lip or palate are very dramatic and the smile from a mother or father with a baby who can now smile, eat and learn to talk brings tears and joy to the Rotaplast team.
