The Lionhearted Kids Run is held in conjunction with the Oshkosh Half Marathon and the Oshkosh 5k. All of the kids run events are perfect for kids of all ages and abilities. The races start at approximately 10:45, after the finish of both the half-marathon and 5k runs. Event distances are as follows:
* 10-11 year olds: 1 mile
* 9 year olds: 1/2 mile
* 8 year olds: 1/4 mile
* 7 year olds: 1/4 mile
* 6 year olds: 1/8 mile
* 5 year olds: 1/8 mile
* 4 year olds: 400 feet
* 3 year olds: 200 feet

All kids receive a t-shirt, goody bag and finishers medal.

The Lionhearted Kids Run (along with the accompanying Oshkosh Half Marathon and Oshkosh 5k) is organized by Midwest Sports Events, who are also the producers of the Lake Country Half Marathon, Lake Country 5k, Oshkosh Half Marathon, Oshkosh 5k, Noodleini 15k, Noodleini 5k, Seroogy's Valentine's Day 5k and Seroogy's Valentine's Day 15k.

All of the Lionhearted Kids Runs start and end at the Leach Amphitheatre (see below for map).
